It is crucial to a modern organisation to anticipate and respond to the ever-changing requirements in their business environment . However, even though well-informed managers understand the need to change, businesses often pay a price for not spotting these changes in time and reacting in time..

It is therefore necessary for an organisation and its people to be willing to continously learn and to be prepared for change. In order for this change to be implemented Change Management is essential to plan, implement and monitor the change process.

Kievits Ltd consultants have a long track record of successful Change Management in a score of organisations and in a wide range of industry sectors.

Kievits Ltd is a company registered in England that was formed in 2003 by a number of seasoned professionals, who each had an international career spanning several decades, in several western and eastern european countries and working for several major American and European companies. The consultants and partners are of English, Dutch, German and Russian origin.

In 2004 the decision was taken to combine the substantial experience and expertise of the Kievits consultants and partners with the strong content of Belbin Associates and to focus first and foremost on the Russian market.

This made sense because :
• Kievits Consultants had been applying Belbin already for many years in their day to day activities.
• Several of the Kievits consultants had track records working for major companies in Russia
• Belbin Associates chose Kievits Ltd as its sole distributor of its Russian Language products
• The Russian market (and society for that matter) seemed to be ready to accept Dr Belbin's insights
• Many Russian companies seem in need of a stronger approach to Change Management, which is a core competence of Kievits

In March 2005 Kievits was ready to launch several Belbin Russian Language products and a conference was organized in Moscow, with Dr Belbin, Prof Zavialova and Mr B.Kievits MSc. as its speakers. The conference was attended by many established Russian companies and the keynote speeches have been widely published in management magazines around Russia and the Ukraine.

In the meantime much has happened and Kievits has worked in 2005 on several projects in Russia for a number of major companies, business schools and universities. In addition the rights for the second edition of Dr Belbin's first book : "Management teams - why they succeed and fail" have been acquired and the Belbin expert system e-Interplace for Team Roles is now available in Russian online.

We sincerely and strongly believe that Russian Companies (and their Human Resources Management in particular) have much to gain by using Kievits services. We foresee further strong growth in 2006 and hope to get in touch with you !
